Cycling Holidays in Ireland

Cycling Holidays in Ireland

Ireland has so much to offer regarding scenery and people and sometimes when we drive along our country roads we miss real gems and insights into the locality. Cycling holidays are something we love to see our guests do and the quiet lanes and roads around Terryglass and Lough Derg are lovely places to see at ‘pedal pace’. We do, of course, supply some bikes of our own free of charge however we often have more serious cycling enthusiasts who bring their own ‘magnificent carbon machines’ !

We were delighted to read this article about cycling opportunities in the Slieve Bloom mountains in the Irish Times  and as this area is on our doorstep we can only concur with the positive sentiments!  The Slieve Bloom area is a wonderful, unspoilt area and offers so much for walkers, nature enthusiasts  and now, cyclists.

So grab your bike, don the lycra, put on your helmet and when you return to your cottage here at Fuchsia Lane Farm you can ease those muscles in the sauna.  What you do next is up to you!
