The Granary provides the best of both worlds: quiet solitude when you need it, and a friendly family run setting that’s always ready with advice on what to do and see, if you need us.  Whether you’re exploring,  tracing your family roots, or simply seeking time out to reflect and recharge, The Granary is an ideal base.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a wood-burning stove, a private garden space, and fast Wi-Fi for keeping in touch or planning your next adventure. Our farm setting invites early morning walks, peaceful reading spots, and even a bit of forest bathing in our meditation space in our broadleaf woodland. You will also have use of our Haybarn Hub where you can read or practice yoga in private.

Safety and peace of mind are central to our offering. We’re located just outside the charming village of Terryglass, known for its warm community and two great pubs, The Derg Inn and Paddy’s Bar. If you want to leave the car behind, we can set you up with one of our free bikes
