Meet Niall & Inez

Niall & Inez

We welcome you to stay at our cottages on Fuchsia Lane Farm, where we have created a destination which is a real rural retreat. Fuchsia Lane Farm, self catering cottages Ireland, offer you a place to relax, unwind and to experience an authentic rural experience. We value the wealth and uniqueness of our surroundings; our farm, our garden and orchard, our lanes, woodland space, bogland and local community. It is a tranquil, safe and private place to stay, where children love the freedom of the on-site play area, and adults enjoy being close to nature in the heart of the Lakelands & Waterways Region. A short walk, cycle or drive brings you to the award winning village of Terryglass, winner of Irelands Best Kept Village in 2016  and access to Lough Derg on the River Shannon.

We are so proud of the fact that  Fuchsia Lane Farm Cottages are listed in the Irish Times Weekend Magazine  as one of the ‘Top 100 Best Places to Stay in Ireland’

As the current custodians of our land and place, we are very conscious of how best to plan for the future and our business here.  We are beginning a process of documenting what is need to be considered as we move forward for the next phase of Fuchsia Lane Farm and our self catering experience.  Read more here

Fuchsia Lane Farm also offers a central location to visit many of the famous visitor experiences in Ireland. Galway, Connemara, The Burren, Clonmacnoise, Birr Castle, The Rock of Cashel and Kilkenny are all ideal day trips from our cottages.

We love having guests to stay, sharing life at Fuchsia Lane Farm, who will enjoy our friendship, some fresh garden produce and a lovely place to stay. We welcome pets and our pets welcome you!

Our cottages have been selected by the Sunday Times newspaper as one of the Top 20 Farmstays in the World and listed by travel writer, Catherine Mack, in the Guardian newspaper as one of the top 10 eco escapes in Ireland.  We are also very proud of our award from Booking.com based on customer feedback and reviews.  We have also been awarded a Gold Medal in the Irish Responsible Tourism Awards in recognition of our commitment to Sustainable Rural Tourism
